Ultimately, you are left with a sense of confusion. You question about the purpose of it all. Was this a joke?

Or were we just living in a simulation gone wrong?

Dreadful Day Ever

It all started with an case of bedhead hair. I couldn't make it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I stumbled and spilled all over myself. To make matters worse, I was totally behind schedule for a very important appointment.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then everything went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to scream into a pillow.
